Jørgen Schnedler

Jørgen Schnedler (born Jørgen Schnedler Knudsen) was born in Amager on 19 August 1963. He attended 10 years of primary school at Dyvekeskolen, then 3 years at Tårnby Gymnasium and immediately afterwards trained as an engineer at Copenhagen Technical College in Ballerup. Jørgen has, simultaneously with his education and employment in several large IT companies, owned and operated JH DATA (together with Hans Nielsen). JH DATA produced software for the first home computers VIC-20 and Commodore 64, the company was also a pioneer in data betting, which was the forerunner of online betting, which was later replaced by betting via the Internet. Data betting (online betting) made it possible for players to use betting systems on many coupons without the risk of manual typing errors that could cause lost winnings. Data betting printed coupons on a printer or directly to the online terminal from Danske Spil. Data betting at JH DATA was a collaboration with TIP EN TRÆFFER, which was the Nordic region's largest provider of betting systems. This meant that JH DATA had Denmark's largest selection of betting systems. Jørgen also had the Jørgens Hjørne kiosk on Amagerbrogade alongside this. Jørgen Schnedler, who is married and has three sons, has a big heart for badminton, which he has cultivated with great commitment for years.
